I found Einstein’s response to Phyllis’s question a great one because he really went out of his way writing back to this little girl. When he decided to answer such a sensitive topic, espessially knowing other scientists would read his respond one day, he took a smart approach not offending anyone and more importantly, his main listener. Since no one knows who scientists pray for if they pray at all Einstein was careful not to mention who exactly he believed in. He pointed out though that is easy to believe in some supernatural power after having spent so much time doing what he has done. The fact that he stuck to what he said when he wrote, “ I have tried to respond to your question as simply as i could” demonstrates his ability to reason with any audience, even a little girl.
